Happy 4th of July!
Happy 4th of July! We have been busy this summer so the posting to the blog has been later than I had hoped.
Hunter's baseball team took 2nd place and he received the "most improved player" award. He could barely catch a ball and could not hit anything at the beginning of the season. By the end of the season he was playing 3rd base and hit a few long balls, which he was able to run home for because the other team couldn't throw or catch.

I started a new job last month at ITT Technical Institute as the Director of Finance. It is the same job that I had at Eagle Gate College, which is helping students get government loans and grants. It is rewarding to see the changes in students lives, especially when I attend graduation every quarter. It makes my job really rewarding and my education valuable.

Justin only has 3 more classes in his Masters and he is getting really excited about finally being done with school. He is sooo smart, he only has 2 A-'s and the rest are A's. I think is total GPA is 3.93 in his Master's. Incredible!
We have a busy summer planned with swimming lessons, 2 weddings, and camping whenever we can get away. I will try to post more often with pictures to keep everyone informed. :-)

Baseball has started....
Hunter has started baseball and has a busy season planned. He has games or practices almost daily and is excited about learning the sport. He is on the Washington D.C. Nationals team. We will keep you posted on his team's status. So far they won their first game 18-0 and we hope to keep the winning streak up.
We also had our new car windows tinted and a cool decal added to the back window......

It's been awhile.....I know!
So it has been awhile since the last post. At least it hasn't been a whole year right? Anyway, I am going to be better about posting at least monthly to the site so our family and friends will know what is going on in our busy lives. :-)
Hunter started baseball and has his first game this Saturday. He has done really well so far and is left-handed or footed when it comes to sports; golf, baseball, soccer, etc. He is really excited to have the variety of sports and is taking one at a time so he can decide what he likes best. He just got two new fish and an aquarium to put in his room. He feeds the fish every morning and when he comes home from school. He never misses a beat and has the fish fed before I even ask him about it.
Michelle just finished her Masters in December 2007. YEA! 10 years of school and I am finally finished. What an interested concept, not going to school. I have never tried it so it has been an adventure in itself. I started teaching to fill the "void" and have realized I just want some time for my family. I don't plan on teaching next term, but then I didn't plan on it this term either.
Justin is finishing up his Masters and should be done by the Fall. He is preparing to start studying for his CPA and will hopefully be done by this time next year. The CPA consists of several separate exams that must be taken within a certain time frame. He is also looking forward to being finished with school and on his way to a new and excited career in Auditing.
Until next month......I will post pictures then, I promise.

As school begins.....
Hunter started soccer today and did really well. He likes to kick the ball far and not dribble down the field. Justin is teaching him some tricks to be the goalie like how to drop on the ball to stop it. He is signed up for Karate for next month so it will keep him active. He said he wants to do basketball, baseball, football, and even tennis! He is so silly. I told him only one at a time.
He also started 1st grade a few weeks ago. He is doing really good and is excited he is going to learn how to read.
I am starting to teach next week at my work, Eagle Gate College. I will be teaching one class at the campus called Human Resource Management. I will be teaching two sessions of another class, Business Communications, online. I am really excited but nervous I won't have enough time for myself or for my family. I am also finishing up my last two classes of my MBA so I will be completely finished on December 1st, 2007. Too busy for my own good huh?
Justin is still going to school for his MBA and working hard at Extra Space Storage as a Property Accountant. He suprised me with a Nortictrac Eliptical exercise machine last night because he knew I have been talking about getting one for a few months. He finally gets his own laptop because he talked me into buying another one and let me keep the new one. What a guy!!!
